Looking over the treasure map you found the other day, you finally decide that it is time to start off on your adventure; however, you feel very anxious and can’t really decide what to do (what to bring, if you should tell anyone, etc)
You end up deciding that you should flip a coin to make your decisions.
First you decide if you are going to tell anyone:
"Ok, I will just [[flip a coin]] and if it lands on heads, I will tell no one and journey off on my own, and if tails, I will tell [[Sam]], just so then someone knows where I am.
(set: $heads to 1)
(set: $tails to 0)
(set: $coin to (random: 0, 1))
(if: $coin is 1)[You flip the coin into the air, as it comes spiraling down, you catch it and place it on the back of your hand, it’s heads.
“Well it looks like I’m going on this journey alone, now, what to bring.”
You know that you won’t be able to bring too much, so you decide to [[look around]] your room/ house to see what you can find.]
(else:)[You flip the coin into the air, as it comes spiraling down, you catch it and place it on the back of your hand, it’s tails.
“Ok, I’ll go tell Sam, just so then no one worries about me and this way I will feel more comfortable about going.”
You pick up your phone and dial Sam, she picks up, after you greet her you inform her about the journey you plan to go on.
She is very intrigued and asks if she can come with you,
Should you invite Sam to [[come with you]] or to [[stay home]]]Sam is one of your best friends. You've known her since first grade and have been inseperable ever since. If anyone would support your jorney, it would be her. (set: $tails to 0)Starting with the garage, you look around to see if there is anything that will keep you safe while you go on through your trip.
You end up finding many boxes hidden away, all of them are very dusty and looks like they haven’t been touched in years.
You decide to look in them to see if they have anything that may be useful to you.
Tearing open the first box, you just find a bunch of old family photos and other trinkets that are important to your family.
Looking around some more, you haven’t really found anything useful, that is until you came across a box labeled: “ocean”
“This should be useful!” you think to yourself.
You open it up and see that inside there is an old wetsuit and an oxygen tank with a mask. “How convenient”
After looking thoughout the whole house, you manage to find a couple of things you think will be useful for your journey and are now [[ready to head off]].You decide that it may be fun if someone else joins you on this journey, for you never know what you may encounter.
After you inform Sam that it is okay for her to join you, you tell her to grab any gear she deems useful for this trip.
Sam quickly hangs up and starts to get her stuff ready.
You then [[wait]] for Sam to come over before you start to head off.You tell Sam that you think it's best if she stays home so then you wouldn't feel as though you are placing someone else in danger. You also tell her that it would be better if she stayed home and cover for you if anyone asks were you are. [[continue|continue without sam]]After waiting for an hour or so, you hear the doorbell ring.
"That must be Sam!" you think to yourself.
You run to the door and open it to find Sam waiting there with a handful of things.
YOU: "You know you can't bring all of that with us, right?"
SAM: "Yeah, I know, but I figured it is better to have excess that we can choose from rather than not having enough." She replies.
YOU: "Yeah, I guess you're right. How about we divide the items into different groups and bring the scuba gear in addition to one of the groups? We can divide them into [[group a]] and [[group b]]"
SAM: "Sounds like a great idea!"Although it would probably be fun to go on this journey with Sam, you decide against it becuase you didn't want to place in her in any danger.
"Well, I guess it's time to [[get started]]."This group contains a large bag, a couple bags of chips, and a waterproof flashlight.

Looking at the map, its seems like the first landmark is a coral reef.
You start swimming and eventually you see it.
The reef is filled with many vibrant colors and many different fish, but you know that you have to be careful as some of the coral is very sharp.
Swimming over the coral, you notice a large fishing net.
Should you [[pick up the net]] or [[leave it behind]]?
You have all of your stuff and it is time to begin your journey.
You and Sam get down to the water and take another look at the map.
YOU: “Are you ready Sam?”
SAM: “Yes! I can’t wait to see what is inside the treasure chest!”
YOU: “Yeah, let’s just hope that the treasure is still down there.”
SAM: “What do you mean?”
YOU: “Well I don’t know, what if it’s not there anymore, or there’s nothing inside?”
SAM: “Don’t think like that, this trip will be no fun if you keep worrying.”
YOU: “Yeah, I guess you’re right.”
SAM: “Great, [[let’s go!]]”

With all your gear on, you make your way into the water with Sam by your side.
As you go deeper into the ocean, your eyes light up with amazement for you have never seen anything like this before.
So many colorful fish swimming around you,
Your anxiety starts to ease as you see Sam enjoying herself and noticing that this trip probably won’t be as bad as you had imagined.

YOU: “I know right, isn’t it beautiful, but be careful, the coral here is very sharp so make sure you don’t go too close to it.”
SAM: “Yeah, yeah, whatever you say.”
As you continue swimming along the reef, you notice that Sam is getting distracted and is going off the course.
YOU: “Sam get back over here, we don’t have time to be wandering around.”
As you call out to her, you don’t hear a response so you [[head over towards her]] to make sure she’s ok.
As you swim closer to Sam, you see that she got caught in the coral.
Her foot was trapped in a bunch of coral, and you see her covering her mouth as if to try and hide her from yelling to express her pain since she didn’t want to be proven wrong.
YOU: “What did I tell you?”
SAM: “I’m sorry, but I saw something shiny over here” She points over to what she found.
It seemed to be some piece of gold, or a coin.
YOU: “I think you found a part of the treasure, but what is it doing all the way out here?
Do you want to [[pick up]] the small treasure or [[continue on without it]]
You pick up the small treasure which looks to be some type of gold coin and place it into your bag.
SAM: “Do you think there will be more of these when we find the real treasure? What other things do you think we’ll find when we get there?”
YOU: “I’m not sure but I hope there’s more, it is a little worrying to see this coin here, so far away from the treasure. But in the meantime, let’s try to get you out of there.”
You look into your bag, and it seems like the only thing that may help in this situation is the [[flashlight]].
YOU: “Ok, let’s get you out of here, plus if we want, we can try to find it on our way out.”
SAM: “Yeah, ok, there should be plenty of more when we find the treasure, right?”
YOU: “I hope so.”
You look through your bag to see if there is anything useful to help get Sam out of the coral, and all you can find useful is the [[flashlight| flashlight 2]].
You pull the flashlight out of your bag and use it to break the coral surrounding Sam’s foot. After a couple of swings, her foot is free, but it is pretty scratched up.
You ask Sam if she is ok, and she nods her head.
SAM: “Yeah, I’m fine, it doesn’t hurt too badly. I can keep going don’t worry.”
YOU: “Ok, if you say so, I better not hear you complain about your foot though.
SAM: “Ok, ok, where to next?”
You look at the map and see that you guys will have to travel through some [[underwater caves]].
YOU: “It looks like we are going to have to go through some underwater caves, do you happen to see any right now?”
SAM: “No, I don’t see any at the moment. I guess we have to swim a little bit further. Do you think they will be hard to find?”
YOU: “I feel like they shouldn’t be too hard to fine, but I am more worried about what we may encounter while we go through these caves.”
SAM: “You need to stop thinking that way. How do you think you’ll make it to the treasure if you’re too afraid to follow the path?”
YOU: “I know, but I can’t help it, let’s just [[keep swimming]] and try to find these caves.
You and Sam keep swimming, but this time it seems as though Sam is having a little trouble trying to keep up.
You look back at her and ask if she’s ok, but she just replies that she is fine and that it’s not that bad, so you just continue on.
A little further, you finally start to see the caves that are pictured on the map.
YOU: “There they are Sam! We made it!”
As you get closer to the caves, they look a lot more dangerous and scarier than shown in the map. However, this doesn’t stop you from [[going through the caves]].
As you and Sam swim through the caves, you are very cautious that you don’t run into any of the walls.
As you go deeper into the caves, it starts to get darker.
SAM: “Hey, can you turn on that flashlight we brought?”
YOU: “Oh right, give me a second.”
You start digging in your bag but you can’t find it.
YOU: “Uh, Sam.”
SAM: “Yeah?”
YOU: “I can’t seem to find the flashlight.”
SAM: “WHAT? What do you mean you can’t find the flashlight?”
YOU: “I don’t know, it’s not here. Maybe I left it over at the coral when I helped set you free and somehow replaced it for the coin.”
SAM: “Well now what are we supposed to do? Go back”
YOU: “No we can’t go back, we’ve already made it this far.”
Should you and Sam [[head back]] to try and find the flashlight, or [[continue on without it| no flashlight]]?
On your way back to the coral to try and find the flashlight, Sam starts complaining about her foot.
YOU: “Do you think you’ll be able to continue on this journey?”
SAM: “No.”
You both look down to Sam’s foot and see that it got cut up pretty badly.
SAM: “I’m sorry, but I don’t think I can continue on this trip, I just can’t keep kicking, my foot hurts too badly.”
YOU: “It’s ok Sam, I understand. Let’s take you back, and maybe we can try to look for the treasure another day?”
SAM: “Yeah, that sounds good. I’m sorry I ruined your trip.”
YOU: “It’s ok, I just don’t want to see you get hurt anymore. [[Let’s head home| end 5]].”
YOU: “Well, let’s just go on without. The map shows that we’ll be out of here shortly.”
SAM: “Fine, but we better make it out safely.”
YOU: “You just need to make sure you stay by my side this time and don’t wander off.”
Sam rolls her eyes in annoyance but continues on.
You guys hover closely to the walls of the cave to help you navigate your way out.
Shortly after, you start to see some light.
YOU: “That must be the way out!”
SAM: “It better be.”
[[continue| cave exit]]
YOU: “Finally, we have reached the end! Now, the next part of the map says that we’ll be at the treasure!”
SAM: “Awesome, so no more obstacles?”
YOU: “Well…”
SAM: “Well, what? Is there another obstacle?”
YOU: “Sort of. It looks like there is a giant octopus guarding the treasure.”
SAM: “WHAT!! That’s awesome!”
YOU: “No it’s not. How do you think we’ll be able to get the treasure if there is a giant octopus guarding it?”
SAM: “How do you even know it’s gonna be there. We don’t know how old this map is, maybe it’s dead or just not there anymore.”
YOU: “Maybe, but I doubt it.”
SAM: “Well let’s just continue on and see, [[shall we| shall we 2]]?
You pull the flashlight out of your bag and use it to break the coral surrounding Sam’s foot. After a couple of swings, her foot is free, but it is pretty scratched up.

SAM: “Hey, can you turn on that flashlight we brought?”
YOU: “Oh right, give me a second.”
You reach into your bag to grab the flashlight. You pull it out and turn it on.
“SAM: “Wow, this is so much better.”
YOU: “Yeah, it doesn’t even look too scary anymore.”
[[continue through the caves]]
Now, as you continue through the caves with the flashlight, you realize that there was nothing to be afraid of.
There was nothing really in the caves other than some plants and small habitats.
Swimming a little further, you start to see some light shine through from the other end, //“we must be almost out of here”//, you think to yourself.
YOU: “Come on Sam, [[we are almost through]]!”
YOU: “Finally, we have reached the end! Now, the next part of the map says that we’ll be at the treasure!”

As you continue on the path, you start to see some large red thing in the distance.
YOU: “You don’t think that’s the octopus up there, do you?”
SAM: “No of course not, there’s no way that octopus is still guarding the treasure.”
Sam doesn’t want to acknowledge the octopus because she knows that it would scare you off.
YOU: “Ok, whatever you say.”
You both continue swimming and as you get closer it becomes more clear that the giant red thing was in fact the giant octopus guarding the treasure.
YOU: “What are we supposed to do now, we didn’t come prepared for this.”
SAM: “Well first off, keep your voice down, maybe it’s sleeping. If so, we can try to go around it and do our best to avoid it. Try to make it as if we were never here.”
YOU: “And if it wakes up?”
SAM: “We’ll deal with that if it gets there. And stop being so negative! Come on, let’s go [[find that treasure]]!”
You both get closer to the octopus, and it seems like it is sleeping.
SAM: “See nothing to worry about.”
Sam gestures to you to remind you that everything is ok, but as she does so, she ends up hitting the octopus.
Its eyes immediately open and look at Sam.
In shock, she stays still as you quickly swim away.
SAM: “Psst, hey, do something and help me. Make sure it doesn’t get more mad.”
The octopus gets up and starts to examine Sam to see if she’s a treat.
As the octopus gets up, you spot the treasure but worry about how you will help Sam.
You start digging through your bag to see if there is anything useful you can use.
//Maybe I can [[thow the flashlight]] at it to try and distract it off of Sam. Or maybe I can try [[giving it some of the chips]] so then it can eat that instead.//
You decide that it is best to throw the flashlight at the octopus to try and get it’s attention off of Sam.
As you throw the flashlight, it doesn’t go too far because the flashlight doesn’t move through the water the same way it would if you were to throw in out of the water.
The flashlight barely moves from out of your range and the octopus has now grabbed a hold of Sam. She starts kicking and flailing around, trying her best to escape, but no luck.
You see the treasure and decide that at this point, it may just be best to swim down and [[grab a hold of it]] now while the octopus is preoccupied with Sam.
Pulling out the bags of chips from your bag, you throw as many as you could towards the octopus.
The octopus is intrigued and lets go of Sam to get a better look at the chips.
Sam quickly swims away and as the octopus moves towards the chips, you see the treasure chest which is revealed from underneath the octopus.
YOU: “There it is Sam! The treasure!”
SAM: “What are you waiting for, go get it! Quick, before the octopus sees you.”
You quickly head down toward the treasure and start filling up your bag with as much treasure as you can fit. Once your bag is full, you join Sam at the surface of the water.
YOU: “We did it Sam! We found the treasure. Are you ready to head home?”
SAM: “Yeah, and [[let's go quickly|end 4]] before the octopus gets us.”
As you continue on the path, you start to see some large red thing in the distance.

//Maybe I can try giving it some of the [[chips]] so then it can eat that instead. Maybe I can [[use the coin]] to try and grab it’s attention with how shiny it is//
You pull out the coin which is very bright and shiny and try to grab the octopus’s attention.
The octopus looks your way, but ultimately ignores it.
Getting a tighter grip on Sam, it seems almost impossible to try and get her out of there. You don’t even see the treasure chest.
You start to wonder if the chest is even there, but there is no time to contemplate, you must try to save Sam now before it is too late.
Having nothing else to use, you decide to go up to the octopus and poke its eye.
It releases Sam as it’s screeching in pain. She quickly swims to the surface, you follow.
Once you reach the surface, she asks if you found any of the treasure.
You shake your head in disappointment, telling her that you didn’t even see the chest.
SAM: “Weird, I wonder where it is.”
YOU: “I don’t know, but I just want to head home.”
SAM: “Yeah, it’s been a long day, [[let's go home|end 3]].”
Pulling out the bags of chips from your bag, you throw as many as you could towards the octopus.

SAM: “Yeah, and [[let's go quickly|end 4]] before the octopus gets us.”
You sprint down to the treasure and are stunned in awe.
YOU: “Wow, look at all this. It’s really here.”
You start to yell at Sam to tell her the good news.
YOU: “Sam, it’s all here, so much gold, diamonds and other jewels.”
She doesn’t respond.
You look back up to Sam and see her still flailing around, but it looks like she is getting tired.
//I need to help Sam, but all of the treasure.//
With your friend in need of help, and a giant chest full of treasure, you are unsure of what to do.
//Should I [[leave the treasure behind]] to go help Sam, or try to [[fit as much of it as I can into my bag|place into bag]]?//
You decide that saving Sam is more important than the treasure.
To save her, you jam the flashlight into the octopus’s eye, and as it is in pain, it releases her.
She quickly swims away and up towards the surface, you follow.
At the water’s surface, you tell Sam that you didn’t grab any of the treasure.
She didn’t respond.
You can tell that she is disappointed but overall grateful that you went back to save her.
Although you didn’t grab any treasure, you both decide that it is best to [[head back home|end]].
Although it looks like Sam is in trouble, you feel obligated to at least pick up some of the treasure since you already made it this far.
After you grab a few handfuls of treasure, you swim back up to try and save Sam.
Wondering what to do, you decide that it may be best to just swing the heavy bag of treasure at the octopus.
As you hit the octopus, it lets go of Sam in pain. Sam swims away quickly and you follow close behind.
You both make it to the surface and catch your breath.
SAM: “Thank you for saving me.”
YOU: “Of course, you think I would just leave you behind? I also managed to grab a lot of the treasure.”
SAM: “Great, I’m glad you did. I mean we came this far already.”
After recuperating, you [[start to head home|end 2]].
On your way back, you both decide that it is best to stay at the water’s surface so then you wouldn’t have to go through any of those obstacles again.
Pretty soon, you start to see the shore, excited, you both start swimming faster because now all you want is to be home.
Finally, after a long day of swimming, you made it home. The sun is setting and it is time for dinner.
Although you may be disappointed that you never got the treasure, you are glad that you at least went on the trip and are glad that Sam joined you.

Reflecting on the day, you are glad that you brought Sam along with you.
Although she may have caused some trouble, she made the trip more bearable and enjoyable.
You are also extremely excited that you were able to come home with a bag full of treasure as well.
THE END
After a long time of swimming you finally reach the shore, you are glad that you decided to pick up the coin Sam found in the coral for at least the trip wasn’t completely pointless.
Still confused with how there was no treasure near the octopus, but a coin in the coral, you wonder how this is so or if you just didn’t see it.
THE END
Overly satisfied with how the day ended, you are glad you decided to go find the treasure and bring Sam along with you.
Although the day was filled with many challenges, you both made it out safely, and with a whole bag of treasure as well.
Once you both finally reach the shore, you say goodbye to Sam and let her go home with some of the treasure.
THE END
You and Sam start making your way back home, both disappointed that you never made it to the treasure, but are more eager to try again.
Maybe next time we’ll come more prepared.
As you finally reach the shore, you say goodbye to Sam and head back home.
THE END
You decide to pick up the net in case you may need it later on in your journey.
You stuff it in your bag and continue on your way. Looking back at the map, it looks like you will be encountering some underwater caves.
YOU: “Uh oh, this doesn’t look good. I hope it isn’t too dark.”
Although a little bit afraid, you [[continue on]].
You decide to leave the net behind because you don’t want to carry something so large.
Looking at the map, you see that there are some underwater caves that you will have to go through before you reach the treasure.
A little bit afraid, you know that you can’t turn back now, so you [[keep going]].
You look at the map to see where you have to go next.
The map shows that you will have to go through some underwater caves before you reach your final destination of the treasure.
You wonder if you can go around these caves because you are afraid of going through them alone.
As you reach the caves, you notice that it is possible to swim over them.
Do you want to [[travel through the caves]] or [[go over them]]?

You pick up the small treasure which looks to be some type of gold coin and place it into your bag.
SAM: “Do you think there will be more of these when we find the real treasure? What other things do you think we’ll find when we get there?”
YOU: “I’m not sure but I hope there’s more, it is a little worrying to see this coin here, so far away from the treasure. But in the meantime, let’s try to get you out of there.”
You look into your bag, and it seems like the only thing that may help in this situation is the [[wooden stick]].
YOU: “Ok, let’s get you out of here, plus if we want, we can try to find it on our way out.”
SAM: “Yeah, ok, there should be plenty of more when we find the treasure, right?”
YOU: “I hope so.”
You look through your bag to see if there is anything useful to help get Sam out of the coral, and all you can find useful is the [[wooden stick| wooden stick 2]].
You pull the wooden stick out of your bag and use it to break the coral surrounding Sam’s foot.
You look at the map and see that you guys will have to travel through some [[underwater caves 2]].

YOU: “I know, but I can’t help it, let’s just [[keep swimming|keep swimming 3]] and try to find these caves.

However, this doesn’t stop you from [[going through the caves|through the caves]].
As you and Sam swim through the caves, you are very cautious that you don’t run into any of the walls.
As you go deeper into the caves, it starts to get darker.
SAM: “Hey, can you turn on that flashlight we brought?”
YOU: “Oh right, give me a second.”
You reach into your bag to grab the flashlight. You pull it out and turn it on.
“SAM: “Wow, this is so much better.”
YOU: “Yeah, it doesn’t even look too scary anymore.”
[[continue through the caves|through the caves]]
YOU: “The caves are a lot darker than I thought they’d be. How are we going to make it through without a flashlight?”
SAM: “Maybe if we just hug the walls we’ll eventually find our way out.”
YOU: “Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. The map also shows that the caves aren’t too long, so we should be out shortly.”
SAM: “[[Ok let’s go]], and we need to make sure we stay close to each other.”
Hovering the walls of the cave, you finally see some light shine through.
YOU: “That must be the exit, we are almost there!”
SAM: “Finally, it seems like we’ve been in here forever.”
Swimming a little bit further, you guys made your way out.
YOU: “We did it! That wasn’t too bad.”
You look at the map to see where you need to go next.
YOU: “It looks like our next stop is the treasure chest!”
SAM: “Yay, so there’s no more obstacles?”
YOU: “Well, it looks like there is something guarding the treasure.”
SAM: “Oh, do you think that will be a problem?”
YOU: “Most likely, but we can’t turn back now, not without getting the treasure.”
SAM: “You’re right. [[Let’s go find that treasure]]!”
As you continue on the path, you start to see some large red thing in the distance.
YOU: “What do you think that is?”
SAM: “I’m not sure, but don't chicken out now, we are too close.”
You two start making your way closer to the red thing, and as you get closer, you notice that it is an octopus.
YOU: “Uh oh, this can’t be good.”
SAM: “Don’t worry about it, we just need to sneak in there and get the treasure quickly, before it notices. Look, it is just right over there.”
She points off to the side and there it was, a large chest of treasure, just sitting there.
SAM: “Follow my lead.”
You follow Sam as you swim slowly towards the treasure, being as quiet as you can, you reach the treasure.
YOU: “Wow, look at all of this!”
SAM: “I know right, isn't it amazing, [[let’s go grab some]].”
You start digging into the chest and grab as much of the treasure as you can carry in your bag.
SAM: “Shh, don’t be so loud, you don’t want to wake up the octopus, remember?
YOU: “Oh right. My bag is full, [[come on let’s go]].
You and Sam start to make your way up to the surface with your heavy bag of treasure.
YOU: “Wow, I can’t believe we did it! We managed to get a lot of treasure without even disturbing the octopus.”
SAM: “I know, I can’t believe it either. Well, I guess we can [[head home now| end 6]].”
YOU: “Yeah, let’s go!”
You and Sam start to swim back home at the surface of the water.
SAM: “Thanks for letting me join you on this trip, I had a lot of fun!”
YOU: “I’m glad. I’m not sure I would have had as much fun if I went without you.”
As you finally reach the shore, you say goodbye to Sam as she heads home.
YOU: “Wow, what an amazing day!”
THE END
Intrigued in what you may see in the caves and not want to miss out on any of the experiences from the journey, you decide to travel through the caves.
The caves are very dark and the walls are seem to be very rough. There isn’t much to see expect for all the different plants and habitats living on the walls.
With little light peeking through, you manage to make your way out of the caves.
Taking a look at your next stop, it seems that all that is left is the treasure.
You swim eagerly toward the treasure and see some large red thing where the treasure is supposed to be.
You [[continue swimming]] to get a better look.
Not wanting to deal with the dangers of the underwater caves, you decide that it is probably best to swim over them.
As you swim over them, you look at the map to see what you have to go through next, and it seems that all that is left is the treasure.

You continue swimming and you see some large red thing in the distance.
//I wonder what that is.//
[[continue| go to the treasure]]
It looks like there is some giant sea creature that is guarding the treasure.
//Uh oh, this can’t be good.//
As you swim further to get a closer look, you realize that it is a giant octopus.
You look into your bag to see if you have anything that can distract the octopus while you try and get the treasure.
It looks like all you have is the [[wooden stick| end 8]].

You decide to use the net by throwing it around the octopus to where it can’t move and try your best to pull it away from the treasure.
You feel bad for the octopus, but are too invested into getting the treasure because you have already made it so far.
Once the treasure is revealed, you swim on down towards it and start filling up your bag with as much treasure you can grab.
When your bag is full, you start making your way back up to the surface and you try to pull the net off of the octopus as you head up.
Luckily it came off and you are filled with relief.
As you reach the surface, you notice the sun going down.

Stabbing it right into the eye, but that only made it angry.
The octopus starts to reach out for you and manages to grab a hold of you.
You start kicking and squirming, but there’s no luck. You are stuck in the tentacles of an angry octopus.
After you keep squirming, you start to get tired, and the octopus gets more angry.
The octopus has had enough and decides to eat you.
THE END
After looking throughout the whole house, you manage decide that it is best to bring the scuba diving gear, a large bag, a flashlight, and an underwater camera.
Eager to begin your journey, you start to make your way to the water.
As you reach the shore, you take a look at the map to see where you need to go first, and it seems to be a very colorful coral reef.
Although you’ve been to the ocean plenty of times, you’ve never see the coral reef before, so you are now very excited.
[[continue| enter the water]]
The water is filled with so many fish and sea creatures.
At first you are a little overwhelmed and scared, but then you realize that none of the fish are going towards you.
You feel a little more at ease when you realize that the fish are avoiding you.
You continue to swim, and soon enough you see the large coral reef.
It is more spectacular than you have imagined. With all the bright colors and variety of fish, you gotta remind yourself to stay focused on finding the treasure.
You continue following the reef and then [[look at your map]] to see what you should come across next.
The map shows a dark image, it looks like there must be some dark area like underwater caves or deeper in the sea.
Unsure of what it may be, you continue forward to see if it will stand out to you.
Once you can no longer see the colorful coral reef behind you, you start to see the dark underwater caves that the map was depicting.
You now [[continue a little hesitant]] because you are afraid of what may be lurking within these caves.
You look into your bag to try and find your flashlight because it looks like these caves are going to be dark.
As you begin to enter the caves, you turn your flashlight on and see all that was hiding in the dark.
There isn’t much, but there are lots of plants and other habitats living on the walls of these caves.
Not wanting to mess up any of the plants or habitats, you make sure you don’t go too close to them as you travel through the caves.
As you continue through the caves, you finally start to see some light shining through what looks like the exit.
//[[The exit, at last!]]//
Your fear begins to ease since nothing bad happened to you while you went through the caves.
Feeling a little more confident, you look back at your map to see where you need to go next.
The last thing that is listed on the map is the treasure surrounded by something large and red.
//I wonder what that could be.//
You [[continue swimming| continue swimming 2]] because you can’t quite see anything in the distance that matches what is shown on the map.
As you get closer to where the treasure is supposed to be, you stop running into a lot of fish. It is almost as if the fish don’t want to be around this area.
//That’s odd, I wonder why there aren’t many fish over in this area.//
You look around and you can finally see the large red thing that is shown on the map in the distance.
Your heart starts to race because you can feel how close you are getting.
//I am almost there, I can feel it.//
[[continue| at the octopus]]
You continue swimming further toward the large red thing.
As you get closer, you realize that this large red thing is a giant octopus.
Your confidence starts depleting as you did not come prepared to deal with something like this. Unsure how to deal with the octopus, you look into your bag to see what you can use.
All you have is a [[flashlight| flashlight 5]] and your [[camera]].
You take out your camera to take a picture of the octopus so then you can show everyone back home, for they would not believe you without having a photo.
As you go to take the photo, the flash goes off.
This flash is unnaturally bright and irritates the octopus.
It gets up and starts to go after you and you swim away as fast as you can.
You head towards the surface without getting any of the treasure because you are too afraid.
After you make it a safe distance away from the octopus, you just [[continue on home| ending 9]].
You decide to use your flashlight and poke the octopus in the eye to keep it distracted.
Once you do so, the octopus covers it’s eye in pain, and you now have a clear opening to the treasure.
You race down there and start to fill up your bag with as much coins and jewels that you can fit.
After you filled up your entire bag, you swim straight up toward the surface.
You made it. [[Now, to head home| ending 10]].
Disappointed with yourself that you not only didn’t get any treasure, but also because all the confidence you gained is now gone.
You mope on home as you swim back to the shore.
At least you got that photo of the octopus.
THE END
As you head back home, you reflect on your journey.
You accomplished so much with conquering some of your fears and gaining some new confidence, you will now start to go on more adventures.
Although you now have a whole bag of coins and jewels, you are only a little sad that you didn’t take any photos during your entire journey.
